The restaurant

In the old offices of the Lamot brewery in the heart of Mechelen, you will discover our new concept: a new food and drink culture.

"Puro" is a cozy meeting place where you can enjoy a delicious breakfast, have a drink or a snack in the afternoon, or dine with great pleasure.

On the upper floor, you can find a separate restaurant area for about 120 people, next to an air-conditioned lounge area where some 90 different wines are presented at the perfect temperature.

Johan Verbrugghe, Jo Derkinderen and Johan Van Eetvelde, along with their entire team, guarantee a delicious culinary pleasures.

Concept

In 2004, we were contacted by a project developer to setup a hospitality concept on the old Lamot site in Mechelen, just in front of the existing Novotel Hotel.

Pure Sang

After the purchase of the building, we contacted the interior/concept bureau 'Pure Sang', the former owner of Creneau, known from the Belgian Beer Cafés.

Together with Pure Sang, we created a concept to attract all types of people, at any time of the day. From a list of different names, we kept the name "Puro.
